Mobile Maintenance Operative

EQUANS are recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Operative to be based in Bristol. This is a permanent full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

General Overview:

  • To carry out all PPM and Reactive repairs, as necessary across Health Care sites in Bristol and Oxford
  • Liaise with the helpdesk in relation to Reactive Work Orders
  • Responsible for minor installations and maintenance of site Mechanical & Electrical Systems.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and report diligently.
  • Responsible for all record keeping, control of sub-contractors and raising and issuing of safety documentation as required.
  • Ability to work in a customer focused environment where quality and image is very important.
  • Ensure any parts required are clearly and accurately stated.
  • Ensure that any difficulties encountered on maintenance/engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis or as required.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
  • Understanding of company procedures.
  • Understanding of escalation procedures.
  • To be available for out of hours call out, weekend working depending on production and business requirements.
  • RAMS & PTW working knowledge and experience
  • All PPE and Uniform, Mobile Phone, and specialised tools will be supplied.

 

Impact:

  • This is a key and critical role within a team responsible for maintaining the operational and commercial delivery criteria to the Customer within a Healthcare setting
  • Managing workloads will be critical to success as will the regular analysis of reactive breakdowns to ensure route causes are identified and eliminated to successfully achieve KPI’s.
  • Working to a high standard of Building Maintenance on site.
  • Produce high quality reports of their findings along with estimates and sourcing of parts as required.
  • The role will involve being the face of EQUANS so a smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others is required.

Managing Quantity surveyor

The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of all projects within the Division in order to control and maximise the company’s profitability, protect the company’s legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues.

This is to include managing all commercial resources on the projects, ensuring applications and valuations are completed in line with the contract terms and also ensuring sub-contractors receive prompt payment and are procured in line with our contractual obligations and Commitments to Subcontractors. 

In addition, ensuring cost reports and the like are managed, completed on time and monitored together with overseeing all relevant commercial reporting activity necessary within the division. Management of the income of the Company in the division and increase profits by good surveying practise without compromising Health & Safety on each site.

 

What will you deliver?

 

 

  • To manage the commercial teams, and where applicable operation staff as the Senior member of staff in the division or works stream.
  • To take overall responsibility and accountability for the commercial elements on a number of contracts (including day to day cost control, monitoring and reporting)
  • Manage commercial input and assist the Operations Manager with pre-start details. Attend pre-start meetings with the client as necessary to ensure smooth project set up and full knowledge of the project to manage it through to completion.
  • Review contracts for sub-contractors and authorise in line with businesses profit plan and targets according to DLA authorisation level and issue to the accounts team.
  • Assist with subcontractor selection and ensure the chosen subcontractor has the appropriate order and information to carry out their work.
  • Review and sign-off all QS documentation (i.e. client invoices, commercial reporting, CVRs, etc) and issue for posting to supply chain
  • Complete a monthly cost valuation report for designated projects and ensure the team manage receipt of / requests for payment in a timely manner to ensure sufficient cash flow management for the Client and the group, and the supply chain in line with contracts.
  • Manage sub-contractor orders, appointments, accounts and variation accounts; measure progress, valuations, final accounts, and retention release ensuring receipt of payment in a timely manner for all designated schemes in line with the main contract and sub-contract data base
  • Ensure the company is neither compromised nor disadvantaged by any contractual or financial arrangement, and ensuring both the company and the client is fully advised of all commercial matters at all times and put measures in place to rectify any concerns highlighted
  • Manage subcontractor and professional services selection for new schemes, ensure the chosen contractor has the appropriate order and information to carry out their work, and helping to prepare procurement schedules liaising with legal counsel as required regarding contractual information (collateral warranties, PCG’s, etc)
  • Manage monthly applications and sub-contractor accounts in line with legal obligations.
  • Management of the day to day cost control expenditure, monitoring, and reporting; reconciling cost/value reports and forecasting expenditure using this information to maximisation profit and efficiency
  • Manage contractual correspondence in regard to delays, non-conformance, etc
  • Sufficiently manage the financial aspects of the project and ensure the correct safety measures / equipment is accounted for and used at all times
  • To liaise with all staff, clients, consultants and residents in a professional manner to build client relationships helping future business development
  • To liaise with the Estimating team to ensure future opportunities are positively actioned to convert into tangible wins. Where appropriate, assist with estimates and negotiations for future opportunities.
  • Review contract tender conditions in parallel with the businesses Legal Counsel and ensure that where discrepancies are identified these are recorded and administered at tender stage
  • In conjunction with Divisional Director, prepare monthly accounts/reports and submit for approval by the Finance Director.
  • Liaise with the Operational Management teams over contractual issues and take action as required
  • Act as commercial champion for the division and attend internal and external service meetings to ensure information is circulated to managers accordingly (i.e. Supply chain Committees etc.) and that commercial impact is considered for all projects
  • Time management; to ensure deadlines are met as per monthly reporting timetable.
  • Assist in ensuring the Company is in line with Health & Safety procedures, to protect your safety and others around you
  • Manage the recruitment of commercial considering type of workstream and skills required
  • To manage, coach and develop the team effectively in order to deliver the highest standards of service and maximise individual/team potential (including PDRs, disciplinaries, absence reviews, etc)
  • Any other reasonable management request.

La connaissance du client RTE et la maîtrise d’AUTOCAD et de COVADIS sont appréciables. Vous aurez à participer au pilotage de plusieurs affaires.

Sales Support Executive

EQUANS are recruiting for a Sales Support Executive to be based at home or an EQUANS office. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. On offer is a competitive salary banding £22,800 - £24,000 and benefits package.

The Sales Support team provides an administration service to Sales Account Managers, ensuring that a high level of service and training is always maintained.

The role holder will be involved with and sometimes own a wide and varied level of administration processes across the Enterprise sales team, representing the team within the rest of the business in the absence of the Team Leaders at times. To continually drive improvements within Sales processes and functions and to be available to support team members with training, development and any problems as and when required.

What will you deliver?

  • Assisting with the day-to-day workload management of the sales support team

Compliance Auditor

EQUANS are recruiting for 2 Compliance Auditor's to be based across London and Midlands. These are permanent full-time role's working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The role of the Compliance Auditor is to understand and deliver the Account and Statutory Compliance needs associated to the operational needs of our prestigious client. As part of the Technical Audit community the role will support the development of the strategy under the Technical & Compliance Manager.

Delivering the day-to-day audit and control needs associated to the M&E service delivery. This is carried out by Audits of site logbooks, electronic record keeping and reviewing reports to ensure PPM statutory compliance in readiness for extensive EQUANS and our customer Audits from service delivery to legislative compliance, both of EQUANS services as well as customer legislative requirements.

What will you deliver?

  • Ensures compliance with control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
  • Carry out Desktop Pre-Audits in line with client Audits (Lot 4, CPFIG) prior to visiting HMCTS building.
  • Submit pre-audit to relevant Operational Lead to enable any deficiencies to be addressed preparation for site audit.
  • Arrange audit-access to site with relevant person and invite interested parties.
  • Attend client sites and carry out ENGIE / HMCTS contract audits to ensure all relevant documentation is in place and up to date.
  • Where possible, print and add missing documentation/reports/certificates to relevant Logbooks whilst on site.
  • Prepare Audit Report and communicate findings to relevant parties for action/tracking and closing out failures.
  • Monitor Audit Report Actions to ensure completion and Issue reminder to action owners, one week after the audit regarding deadline(s) for audit action completion.
  • If no evidence or mitigation received within two weeks of audit, escalate to Line Manager for follow-up.
  • Close-out actions where suitable evidence received.
  • Conduct site walk-around for general view of the M&E Plant taking in consideration Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ).
  • Raise immediate concerns with the attending Engineer/Supervisor in order for a Helpdesk call to be raised.
  • Carry out regular dip-test in CAFM System-Maximo and SharePoint to ensure Compliance Document Filing Process is being followed. Raise any failures with the Compliance Team, Team Leader.

Assistant Commercial Manager

EQUANS are recruiting for an Assistant Commercial Manager to be based across Northern UK with the ability to WFM and with limited travel. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

  • Take a key supporting role in the management of contractual claims / disputes with clients and other third parties
  • Support in governance within the contracts to ensure that the requirements of the contract are being complied with
