Rattaché au conducteur de travaux, le chef de chantier est en charge de l’organisation et de l’exécution du chantier. Il est garant de la réalisation des travaux dans le respect des délais, mais aussi dans le respect des règles de sécurité et de qualité.

Vos missions principales seront les suivantes :

  • Conduire les travaux d’exécution (définition des objectifs, mise à jour du dossier chantier)
  • Assurer la coordination des chantiers, en cas de multi-chantier
  • Vérifier la qualité des fournitures et de l’exécution
  • Traiter les non-conformités et proposer des actions correctives
  • Définir les différents besoins (en personnel, en matériel…)
  • Appliquer et faire appliquer les consignes de sécurité (protection individuelle, connaissances des règles…)
  • Contrôler et valider les pointages
  • Reporter l’avancement du chantier de manière périodique (éléments marquants, travaux supplémentaires demandés par le client)

 

Votre profil :  

 

De formation Bac pro à CAP/BEP en génie électrique ou électrotechnique, vous possédez de réelles connaissances quant à la conduite d’un chantier. Vous avez le sens de l’organisation et du résultat économique du chantier, acquis lors de vos expériences précédentes dans le secteur des travaux public.

 

Votre organisation, votre rigueur et votre bon relationnel vous permettront de vous adapter rapidement au sein de nos équipes. Par ailleurs, vous faites du respect des règles de sécurité votre priorité.

 

Ce poste vous fera intervenir de jour et de nuit et des déplacements ponctuels sont à prévoir.

Joiner

EQUANS are recruiting for a Joiner to be based in Belfast. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £28,120 and benefits package.

General Overview

  • To undertake the duties/responsibilities as a Joiner to the standards set out by the contract.
  • To carry out the duties as a Joiner in accordance with Statutory Regulations, Company policies and Procedures.
  • To assist the Foreman in producing a quality product within the contract period. Understand, implement and adhere to EQUANS SHEQ requirements.
  • To ensure you complete the full sequence of events on PDA and the completion of jobs for invoicing.
  • Efficient use of the Impact system.
  • To adhere to the Client contract KPI’s and, target dates and timeframes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide a high-quality service to NIHE tenants, specifically within domestic properties that are either occupied or void.
  • To undertake all elements of 1st and 2nd fix Joinery, and where required undertake roof work.
  • Undertake where required other multiskilled duties.
  • To attend all relevant training courses, including all health and safety
  • To work in accordance with any training and instructions given and bring to the attention of the employer any shortcomings and defects in the management systems and protective measures
  • To use protective equipment, substances and tools/equipment in accordance with instructions and training given
  • Assist with the adherence to the Company quality standards including:
  • Compliance with specification and SOR codes
  • Adherence to the sequence of events for each job on the PDA.
  • Ensure van stock is processed and managed accordingly
  • Ensure that your work is carried out the highest quality and within a reasonable amount of time.
  • Ensure any additional work is captured and communicated to the relevant person, so that the company can invoice for additional work completed.
  • Compliant in timeframes allocated of jobs, ensure target dates are met,
  • Compliance with materials / workmanship schedules
  • Maintain and care for all company tools
  • To use appropriate safety equipment
  • To wear appropriate clothing / uniform
  • To ensure areas of work are left clean, tidy and safe at all times
  • To be responsible for and take due care of the company van in accordance with the company car policy
  • Liaison with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etc
  • Be responsible for your own safety and all other around you
  • Make every effort to attend mandatory courses relevant to your role

EQUANS are recruiting for two Aldershot based Plumbers to be a part of our exciting new VIVO contract. 

This is a permanent role working full time between the hours of 8am – 8pm Monday - Saturday. On offer is a competitive salary plus the opportunity to do overtime and on-call, a company van, and benefits package.

The contracts will see Vivo provide asset and facilities management services for the UK Defence built estate and repairs and maintenance work for service family accommodation. VIVO will deliver services which will support the UK’s defence capability, maintaining the built estate across more than 200 sites. Votre mission :

 

Sous la responsabilité du Directeur d’Agence de l’Enveloppe du Bâtiment, vous aurez en charge l’exécution et le suivi des marchés d’interventions et de Travaux de couverture, étanchéité, bardage sur toute la région nantaise, au sein de notre agence située à Bouguenais.

 

Vous participerez à l’ingénierie des travaux de couverture et de revêtement des toitures des bâtiments et à ce titre, durant vos trois années, vous évoluerez de manière graduelle dans nos trois métiers suivants : Bureau d’études projet, Bureau d’études exécution et conduite de travaux.

 

Il sera question en :

 

1ère année ⇒ Intégrer notre bureau d'études projet :

  • Lire et analyser des Dossiers Techniques de Produit, des Dossiers Techniques Unifiés pour apprendre l'environnement de l'enveloppe du bâtiment ;
  • Préparer des dossiers d’appels d’offres et transmettre les devis élaborés après étude technique du cahier de charge ;

 

2ème année ⇒ Intégrer notre bureau d'études exécution :

  • Réaliser des études techniques pour la pose des matériaux ;
  • Concevoir des dessins techniques sur Autocad ;
  • Préparer des opérations d’achats avec les chargés d'affaires ;

 

3ème année ⇒ Intégrer nos équipes travaux (conducteurs de travaux et chargés d'affaires) :

  • Assurer la conduite des chantiers et surveiller l’exécution des travaux dans le respect des engagements contractuels et des procédures qualité et sécurité, de la satisfaction client et la maitrise budgétaire ;
  • Veiller au bon approvisionnement des matériels ;
  • Vérifier l’avancement et la qualité des travaux selon les prévisionnels ;
  • Assurer une relation de proximité avec les clients ;

 

Votre profil :

 

Vous êtes à la recherche d’un poste terrain et d’encadrement et vous souhaitez découvrir l’univers du chantier et comprendre son fonctionnement. L'esprit d'analyse, l'aisance relationnelle, la rigueur et le travail en équipe seront des atouts essentiels pour ce poste.

Actuellement, en formation Bac +2 dans le domaine technique du Bâtiment ou en Conduite de travaux, vous recherchez un contrat d’alternance pour trois ans pour un cycle d’ingénieur en Génie Civil spécialité Bâtiment ou tout autre diplôme d’ingénieur en Bâtiment et Travaux Publics et vous souhaitez vivre une expérience réellement enrichissante, avec un tuteur expérimenté, qui viendra renforcer votre formation, vous faire monter en compétences et éclairer votre projet professionnel.

Vous avez des connaissances techniques dans l’installation d’équipements de couverture et de bardage de bâtiment, dans le montage des échafaudages et des dispositifs de sécurité, la lecture de plans, le calcul dimensionnel, les techniques de traçage et les normes d’isolation.

Commercial Solar PV Quantity Surveyor

General Overview

 

To take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of the designated project in order to control and maximise the company’s profitability, protect the companies legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues.  This is to include ensuring applications and valuations are completed in line with the contract terms and also ensuring sub-contractors receive prompt payment and are procured in line with our contractual obligations and Commitments to Subcontractors.  In addition, ensuring cost reports and the like are managed, completed on time and monitored.  To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy/strategy.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Control all expenditure
  • Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts
  • To assist the Contract Manager with pre-start planning and programming
  • Continual use of the sub-contract data base
  • Sub-contract procurement and commercial management
  • Management and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accounts
  • Change management control
  • Assisting and liaising with the buyers on materials procurement and buying opportunities
  • To manage the day to day cost control, monitoring and reporting
  • Develop an understanding of the designated contract, specification and pricing ensuring compliance with conditions throughout
  • Assist the Contract Manager with subcontractor selection and ensure the chosen subcontractor has the appropriate skill set and capability to deliver the works. Place the appropriate order and all required  information to carry out their work
  • Liaise with the Contract Manager over contractual issues and take action as required
  • Measure progress, submit valuations, submit final accounts and retention release and monitor receipt of payment in a timely manner in accordance with the contracts
  • Process subcontractor requests for payment
  • Completing a monthly cost / valuation report and cash flow for the designated projects
  • Where appropriate, assist with estimates and negotiations for future projects or phases
  • Attend project and company related meetings
  • Ensure the company is neither compromised nor disadvantaged by an contractual or financial arrangement
  • Manage the costs on a project to ensure both the company and the client is fully advised of the cost situation
  • Sufficiently manage the financial aspects of the project to ensure the correct safety equipment is used at all times
  • Be responsible for your safety and others around you
  • Ensure timely cash flow management for the Client and the group, and the supply change
  • Assisting the development and training of trainee and assistant surveyors
  • Maintain and develop professional relationships with the Client, to help future business development

Equans’s Solar EPC business design, install, commission and maintain commercial, industrial and large-scale solar PV installations. Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants enables renewable energy suppliers, businesses, and public sector organisations to reduce costs and their carbon footprint and generate power into private networks. Our growing pipeline of projects include Ground and Roof Mounted solutions, as well as Floating and Car Port Solar installations and Battery Energy Storage Systems.

 

General Overview

Providing an estimating and tendering service in the Energy/Renewables sector from receipt to submission with the objective to achieve/exceed the Company Budget.  To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy/strategy.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Clients, Designers, Subcontractors and Suppliers
  • Work with other members of the Pre-Construction and Energy teams to develop the bid strategy
  • Accurately review tender documentation
  • Issue relevant information to legal team for review and share completed review
  • Carry out site visits in order to view, address and mitigate risks wherever possible.
  • Prepare and issue sub-contract and material enquiries. Manage receipt of quotations in a timely manner to achieve competitive market rates
  • Where required produce accurate take-off using estimating software. If outsourced externally coordinate the issue of information and ensure take off completed to the required standard and accuracy.
  • Ensure that correct insurance levels are in place upon appointment of external BOQs
  • Price bills/schedules analytically and produce quote comparisons using estimating software. Identify risks and opportunities and assess the potential impact on the project together with any necessary qualifications
  • Liaise with Subcontractors, Pre-Construction and Delivery teams to assess the programme requirements in order to develop and cost a suitable preliminary allowance
  • Present estimate for review and final settlement
  • On secured projects prepare and deliver information for handover to the contract team
  • Assist with developing up clarifications and Contractors Proposals / Derogations
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and efficiently in the Energy/Renewables market sectors i.e. Sustainability / Renewables / PV /Utilities
  • Work effectively with other members of the commercial department and Energy / Renewables Team in order to achieve the most effective and competitive solutions.
  • Develop and work with junior members of the team to create succession plans
  • Develop cost information from first principles
  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge of labour, plant, materials and sub-contractors.
  • Assist in developing Energy / Renewables cost library
  • Complete all mandatory and non-mandatory training and assist in the development of other staff
  • Complete and compile relevant benchmarking information and ensure it is up to date
  • Take responsibility for all information that will be incorporated into the Tender Adjudication Book i.e. challenge preliminaries, ensure totals are correct etc
  • Develop up cashflows are required
  • Capture and identify all abnormals that are part of the design to enable these to be extracted for viability purposes
  • Attend site visits to carry out initial review and visits with sub-contractors
  • Work closely and keep professional relationship with clients and consultants
  • Working closely with Energy / Renewables Preconstruction and Operations team to ensure all information captured and handed over effectively
  • Attend workshops / Meeting etc. on behave of the business always acting in a professional manner
  • Develop up Kit of Parts / Cost Plan templates for the various components
  • Develop up pricing library to establish cost plans and contract sums
  • Develop and investigate new technology and instigate into the business

  • Experience of pricing a wide range of tender sizes in the Sustainability / Renewables / PV / Utilities sectors
  • Experience of pricing range of PV systems i.e. Ground Mounted, Roof Mounted and Floating

  • Working experience of presenting technical and complex information
  • Utilities with groundwork experience
  • Understanding of site constraints and identifying early to cost or mitigate
  • Understanding of utility providers points of connection and costing of these

  • The Yard Operative is to work closely with the client to ensure their targets are met in terms of recycling and working towards zero landfill.
  • We will operate a cost-effective service ensuring the waste does not go to land fill and to benefit from maximisation of selling waste including Bales, Metals and other materials.
  • To support the onsite team responsible for delivering a professional and efficient waste management solution to our client within their site. 
  • You will be provided with a schedule of responsibilities as a Yard Operative FLT Driver to fulfil the expectations of your role. The External Yard, Corral, Roller Shutter 5 area must be kept clear at all times, all chemicals stored in the bunded specialised cabinets or on a bund. These goods cannot be left unattended on the ground.
  • The main duties consist of the daily removal and segregation of waste from areas within Whitman Labs boundary to the dedicated Waste Segregation Areas agreed with the client. 
  • The service shall be delivered to assist our client Environmental and Social Corporate Responsibilities.
  • Waste streams to be managed include but are not limited to General waste, Wastepaper products, Cardboard, Foodstuffs, Plastics, Glass, Wood, Metals, and Hazardous Waste.

De vacature betreft een zelfstandige functie voor een ervaren cost engineer die voor ons team in Zaandam/Rotterdam gaat zorgen voor goede begrotingen en kansrijke offertes..

Het team waarin je werkt is een klein enthousiast team in een sterk groeiende kennis unit.

De taken van de Cost Engineer Sprinkler zijn:

  • beoordelen van ingekomen aanvragen
  • opnemen op locatie van werkzaamheden t.b.v. het uitbrengen van offertes
  • gesprekken met klanten n.a.v. aanvragen
  • maken van berekeningen en een ontwerp als basis voor een offerte
  • aanvragen van prijzen bij leveranciers
  • maken van begrotingen op basis van eisen, ontwerpen en bestekken
  • maken van offertes
  • toelichten van begrotingen en offertes bij klanten
  • documenteren en archiveren van offertes
  • bijhouden van het offerte registratiesysteem
  • overdragen van de offertes aan uitvoering wanneer deze in opdracht gegeven zijn
  • onderhouden van contacten met leveranciers
  • verzamelen en delen van kennis van sprinklerbeveiligingssystemen.

 

Je voert je werkzaamheden uit in samenwerking met engineers en projectleiders van de Fire Safety Security-afdelingen in Rotterdam en Zaandam.

 

Functie Eisen

Functie eisen:

  • MBO/HBO werktuigkundig
  • sprinkler opleiding VSI-B en bereidheid tot het volgen van VSI-C
  • tenminste drie jaar werkervaring
  • ervaring met hydraulische rekenprogramma’s
  • ervaring met calculatieprogramma’s, bij voorkeur Acto
  • kennis van NFPA- en FM-normen
  • een goede beheersing van Nederlands in woord en geschrift
  • basiskennis Engelse taal, met name t.b.v. gebruik van Engelstalige normen
