IT Application Tester

To strengthen the IT team, based in Brussels, Equans is looking for an experienced analyst.

In this role, you function as a quality gate for the application. You are responsible for the internal and external follow up on testing and execution. When you are not focusing on the testing, you assist the team with regard to the functional analyses of clearly defined topics.

Your day-to-day as an IT Application Tester:

• you are full-time tester
• you analyse the needs of the different business users throughout different projects
• you work in an agile methodology
• you customize or parametrize software suites when possible
• you prepare and execute testing of the solution
• you document test cases/test plans
• you facilitate workshops between internal and external parties
• you follow up on internal (UAT) testing

Are we a match?

• you have at least 2 years of experience in testing
• you have experience in creating test scenarios, cases, and test plans
• you have worked for at least 2 years in an agile environment
• software knowledge: MS Office, Azure Devops, Visio
• you communicate in a concise but gentle way, have good social skills
• you are proactive and you have a problem-solving mindset
• you are customer-oriented, and you have a learning mentality
• you can work independently
• you value the team’s success more than you value your personal achievements
• you are open for very regular mobility across all sites of Equans in Belgium
• you have a full professional proficiency in English and Dutch and French
