Maintenance Technician

EQUANS is looking for 2x Maintanence Technicians to be working 40 hours on a permanent basis at our Gem Contract in Bury, Manchester. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £23,000 and benefits package.

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
  • Engineer will have responsibility to carry out Planned Maintenance and reactive breakdowns
  • Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
  • Undertake repairs and installations as appropriate.
  • Report any defects at time-of-service visit.
  • Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • An understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA's), service targets and objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  • Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
  • Attend Client meetings as required and directed by the Engineering Supervisor
  • Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
  • Some out of hours call outs may be necessary

Stores & Site Facility Operative

EQUANS are recruiting for a Stores & Site Facility Operative to be based in BCC East - Kings Road Tyseley B11 2AP. This is a permanent full-time role working 42.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary,  and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

 

  • Oversee any deliveries coming in & out of the site, this will also incorporate the issue of materials, plant & PPE from a small store area on the premises

Sous l'autorité du directeur-adjoint du département de service de notre bureau de Laval, le mandat du titulaire sera d’effectuer principalement l’entretien préventif et correctif des systèmes de détection de gaz des bâtiments de notre clientèle.

 

Description:

  • Détection de gaz :
    • Procéder l’étalonnage et à la calibration des équipements de détection de gaz de divers manufacturiers;
    • Procéder à la vérification des séquences d’opération en lien avec le système de détection de gaz;
    • S’assurer du bon fonctionnement des équipements électromécaniques raccordés au système de détection de gaz;
    • Procéder à la réparation et au remplacement (lorsque requis) de divers équipements de détection de gaz;
    • Procéder à la programmation & à la mise en route d’équipement de détection de gaz (détecteurs, transmetteurs & centrales).
  • Contrôles :
    • Faire l’entretien de divers systèmes de contrôles et de différents manufacturiers;
    • Effectuer des visites d’entretien préventif;
    • Procéder à une vérification point par point des diverses composantes de contrôle raccordées au système d’automatisation du bâtiment;
    • Effectuer la calibration des diverses composantes de contrôle;
    • Procéder à la mise à jour des composantes de contrôle lorsque requis;
    • Effectuer divers appels de service (entretien correctif);
  • Diagnostiquer, vérifier et corriger les troubles reliés au mal fonctionnement des systèmes de contrôle et/ou des systèmes électromécaniques;
  • Lors d’un appel de service et/ou de façon proactive pendant un entretien préventif :
    • Toujours demeurer vigilant et proactif de façon à apporter les meilleures solutions à nos clients;

Exigences:

Sous la responsabilité du Chef Groupe Fiabilité / Amélioration continue, l’électricien d’entretien réalise des tâches d’entretien programmées et correctives. Assure de maintenir, la surveillance, la maintenance et le dépannage des équipements à la salle à bagages, voire d’améliorer les performances des appareils et systèmes électriques.

L’électricien intervient sur différents types de matériels : le réseau électrique interne, les automates, les convoyeurs. Identifier, élaborer un diagnostic, détecter le dysfonctionnement, analyser les différentes pannes et réparer les pannes et réaliser les interventions préventives et curatives des équipements. La personne titulaire du poste répondra aux appels de service des opérations pour les interventions correctives. Elle doit aussi participer aux activités visant à améliorer la fiabilité des équipements.

 

Description :

  • Exécuter la maintenance préventive et corrective des différents équipements du système tri-bagages ; intervenir en urgence sur une panne, localiser un dysfonctionnement, maintenir et dépanner des convoyeurs. Sa rapidité d’intervention, de diagnostic et de réparation peut faire gagner un temps précieux sur le système de convoyeurs.
  • Exécuter les travaux mécaniques et électriques, tels que la vérification des moteurs, des réducteurs, des tapis, nettoyage du convoyeur, inspection des rouleaux et des roulements, changement d’huile, etc ;
  • Lire, comprendre et interpréter les schémas électriques des systèmes, des convoyeurs, des plateaux basculants et des plateaux transporteurs ;
  • Diagnostiquer les pannes électriques et mécaniques en identifiant les causes du problème et proposer des solutions définitives pour optimiser la sécurité et la performance;
  • Participer activement à l’amélioration continue dans le but d’améliorer la fiabilité du système par l’entremise des suggestions d’amélioration ;

  • Appliquer les règles de santé-sécurité et respecter les bonnes pratiques lors de l’exécution des tâches ;

  • Posséder un diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP) en électromécanique ou en mécanique industrielle ;

  • Détenir une licence d’électricien classe C (ou en voie de l’obtenir) ;
  • Avoir des connaissances de base en automatisation, un atout ;

Senior Maintenance Engineer

EQUANS are recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to be based at The Olympic Park, London working on a number of various buildings & sites to supervise a team of engineers as part of the ongoing valued business contract we have in place with our partners.   • Have an in-depth knowledge of all engineering plant and systems and act as EQUANS’s SHEQ Compliance Lead for the contract
  • Be responsible for the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality
  • Monitor Health and Safety strategies, policies and procedures, risk assessments, and safe working practices consistently across all areas
  • Carry-out Technical, Quality and Safety Audits
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with site policies, procedures and practices
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliance for all required items, with current legislation, industry standards, company standards
  • Review and change where necessary current risk assessments to ensure all areas of site are fully assessed and accurate
  • Review and amend, where necessary, all COSHH assessments
  • Gain appointment and undertake AP-CP & RP duties as required on site for disciplines relevant technical skills, including Legionella Management responsibilities
  • Responsible for compliance of all technical matters relating to the effective Plant and Equipment Maintenance
  • Provide guidance and advice on contractors RAMS for none-routine works, as required

Painter

EQUANS are recruiting for a Painter to be based in Hartlepool for our EDF contracts. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

General Overview

To carry out preparation and painting tasks (water and oil-based paints) both internally and externally on site via the use of brushers, rollers etc.

 

Required Experience:

  • Knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques used in the painting trade
  • Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment, knowledge of preparation techniques and use of painting materials and tools, ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and follow both verbal and written work instructions
  • Use and maintenance of the tools of the painting trade safely and skilfully
  • The ability to erect and work from ladders and scaffold safely
  • The ability to safely work in environments that may contain dust or fumes

 

Qualifications:

City and Guild in Painting 6217 (preferred)

Painter

EQUANS are recruiting for a Painter to be based at Torness Power Station in Dunbar, East Lothian. This is a temporary full-time role for 12 Months. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Undertake painting duties, including applications of industrial coatings, use of power tools including track blasters ETC in accordance with Company standards
  • Carry out work safely and efficiently, as directed by Supervisor/Team leader
  • Ensure all equipment used is done so to company and/or manufacturers standards
  • Maintain and given documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards
  • Attend Toolbox talks and undertake duties in accordance with the information given

PFP Assistant Estates Manager

EQUANS are recruiting for an  Assistant Estates Managers to be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, B15 2WB. These are temporary, fixed-term shift roles to complete works contracted for 3 years with the potential for a permanent post once it expires.
 

These roles will require a flexible approach to the shift rota, which is open to negotiation.
 

What will you deliver?

  • Manage the day to day Passive Fire Protection work streams on behalf of Engie whilst interfacing with a number of construction, and non-construction, parties
  • Collate all information related to the PFP work & appropriately organise and store records in line with Engie record keeping procedures
  • Managing and directing staff in a safe and efficient manner
  • Carry out Authorised Person isolations, in relation to both electrical LV and Medical Gases,  where required to enable work to be completed
  • Deputise for the Senior Project Manager Passive Fire Protection during absence from site as directed by the Senior Management Team
  • Participate in shift working where required to ensure the delivery of the PFP project
