What will you deliver?

Equans is looking for a Plasterer to join our team in Ashford, Kent and surrounding areas on a permanent, full time basis. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Planned and reactive maintenance within domestic properties.
- To carry out project defined plastering and wet trades to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager.
- Preparing wall surfaces involving removal of existing coverings and ensuring all surfaces are level
- Making repairs and correcting plasterwork
- Apply or remove artex from ceilings and walls
- Pebble dashing or applying sand or cement to external walls
- Maintain and care for all company tools
- Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks

Building Surveyor - DFG
EQUANS are recruiting for a Building Surveyor (12 month Contract) to be based in Grimsby DN31. This is a 12 month fixed term contract full time working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary banding of £22,000 - £30,000, dependent upon skills and experience.
General Overview:
EQUANS have identified a great opportunity to introduce a building surveyor to their Professional Services Team (TDT) to support the delivery of adaptations to domestic properties in the form of Disabled Facility Grants (DFG). EQUANS are looking to employ a confident and motivated professional to work at the North East Lincolnshire contract who is looking for career and personal development opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible to the DGF Manager and assist with the design and delivery of DFG construction projects as part of a group of building surveyors. This contract is for a fixed term of 12 months to support the increased in volume of cases.
Main Accountabilities
The applicant will be required to be competent on CAD and will assist to develop plans to support specific DFG construction work.
The role will focus on the following requirements:
- To provide design and technical support to building construction projects. Design of projects through site visits and the development of plans and specifications to deliver the requirements identified in the clinical assessment using Auto CAD/2D & 3D packages.
- Assist with providing technical advice and guidance on domestic property and or DFG construction projects.
- The assist to develop briefs, specifications, scopes of work or any other technical information to contribute to the delivery of DFG schemes, procurement and Client’s briefings.
- To develop their knowledge to ensure all technical information provided is accurate to legislative standards, ACoPs and best practice.
- To assist to manage as part of their development minor works and property construction projects utilising the project management process and principals within ENGIE.
- To assist, as part of their development, with the issuing of works orders ensuring compliance with legislative, contractual and workmanship requirements including the briefing and commissioning of all consultants and clients.
- To assist as part of their development to prepare option appraisals, feasibility studies, estimates and the production of technical reports as required. Ensure that value is added to the work of the Section through innovation and creativity. Advising Clients and Service Managers on options and recommendations.
- To assist as part of their development to direct and monitor works to include contract variations, project costs and final accounts as appropriate. Assist in evaluating and determining appropriate actions where problems occur and report to client.
- Operate within the policies, systems, and business plans of Asset Management and the EQUANS.
- To delivery all works with compliance to ENGIE Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) standards and policies in line with ISO 45001 (Health & Safety), 14001 (Environmental) & ISO 9001 (Quality).
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level.

Experienced in design using CAD with a background in delivering high quality building construction projects in both the Public and Private sectors.
Knowledge:
- To meet the requirements and demands of the post, the post holder will need the following:

Carpenter Apprentice
Equans is looking for x2 Carpenter Apprentice to join our team in Birmingham, either Kings Road or College Road on a permanent basis. This is a full time 2-year apprenticeship. On offer is an apprentice wage and benefits package.

Terrassier
Pour les travaux de terrassement et de tranchées, Equans est à la recherche d'un Terrassier/Manchonneur expérimenté.
La fonction est basée à Fleurus, mais vous êtes ouvert à vous déplacer chez nos clients dans toute la Belgique.
Vos activités sont entre autres les suivantes :
- vous placez les câbles et tuyaux
- vous placez les équipements de type : vannes, robinets…
- vous effectuez les branchements de ces équipements
- vous vérifiez que le montage est fonctionnel
- vous réalisez le plan « as-built » de ses raccordements
- vous sélectionnez l’outillage nécessaire à votre travail et en assurez l’entretien quotidien
- vous assurez le balisage des travaux et de la signalisation de la voirie, si nécessaire
- vous connaissez et appliquez les consignes de sécurité
- vous faites des propositions relatives à l’amélioration du travail
- vous faites le reporting de votre activité et des incidents
- vous positionnez les blindages de tous types
Êtes-vous notre futur collègue ?
- vous détenez l’attestation VCA et le brevet VVA1
- vous êtes autonome, et êtes capable de faire votre auto-contrôle
- vous avez une bonne communication
- vous parlez couramment le français, la connaissance du néerlandais étant un atout supplémentaire
