What will you deliver?
- Carry out all planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
- Complete all relevant paperwork/CAFM regarding planned and reactive activities
- Develop a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors, and the client representatives.
- Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated with electrical and all FM related tasks.
- Arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
- Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
- Carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
- The position will require you to provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.

Who are we looking for?
- A recognised Electrical engineering qualification
- 18th Edition wiring Regs.
- Obtain AP status within 3 months
- Experienced fault-finding skills in control, lighting, power systems

- A robust understanding of Health and Safety is required.
- Participation in the account out of hours call out service on a rota basis

- Inspect/replace lamps / tubes

- Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
- Plantroom inspections and AHU filter changes
- Reactive repairs and initial attendance for toilets, leaks and blockages
- Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required
- Carry out reactive / Ad-Hoc activities – being the first response on site, and where appropriate taking immediate action to make safe

Trainee Site Supervisor
Equans is looking for a Trainee Site Supervisor to join our team onsite at Sizewell B Power Station, Leiston, IP16 4UR on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5hours per week. On offer is a competitve salary and excellent benefits package.

- That all maintenance routines are completed as per schedules to include any regulatory requirements.

Stores/Contractor Induction Operative
Equans is looking for a Stores/Contractor Induction Operative to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent basis for our QEH contract. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Dual role to provide stores supervision and support the Contractor Induction and signing in process.
The responsibilities will mainly be at the Acute Hospital but will extend to other areas of the estate if the business needs arise.
• To manage all aspects of the stores provision.

Account Manager

The successful candidate will be required to assume full Operational and P&L responsibility for a significant portfolio of Housing Associations spread across Scotland delivering Statutory Hard FM, PPM, Responsive repairs and Projects.

What will you deliver?
- Manage the Scotland Housing Association Accounts, ensuring all available resources work in a collaborative manner.

- Ensure mobile personnel manage the contract to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as they apply to technical and related services.

Fire Manager

We are looking for someone with excellent management skills within Facilities Management. The successful candidate will have a good understanding for the service delivery contract and the tasks required for effective and efficient maintenance delivery.
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the Health & Safety, Training and Operational Delivery of a team of supervisors whose job is to ensure the on-time delivery of planned preventative & reactive maintenance (PPM), that it is carried out in accordance with the service delivery contract specifications and delivered within the contract financial targets.

What will you deliver?
- Ensuring the operations team are delivering all work in line with their contractual requirements.
- Supporting the Commercial Manager in the mitigation of risks at all levels (operational, commercial, technical, etc.)
- Participating in client negotiations to ensure the business is not exposed to risk.
- Identify, submit variations and supporting the commercial team to manage variation/change control process to capture revenue.
- Identify, manage and submit Early Warning Notices and manage the EWN process.
- Review Application for Payment prior to submission with the target cost manager/finance team.
- Identifying and recommending system/service improvements and/or or variations from BS5839 pt 1 2013, BS5306 etc) during PPM/reactive visits and supplying accurate scopes of work with Supporting the Fire Projects Team in the preparation of Project quotes. General Maintenance Operative - Woolwich
Equans is looking for a General Maintenance Operative to join our team in Woolwich, London on a permanent basis for our HMCTS Contract. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
Equans provide technical and soft services to our client HMCTS across a large portfolio of buildings across the UK. As part of the service, we provide low voltage electrical maintenance and installation services, and because of business growth, we are recruiting for additional roles to provide these services for our customer
Qualifications
Desirable to have an NVQ (or similar) in one of the below –
• Plumbing
• Carpentry
• Decorating services
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and EQUANS processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities. Activities will include –
• Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs
• Inspect /repair free standing and fitted furniture
• Inspect/clear drainage and gully systems
• Inspect/replace lamps / tubes
• Inspect/repair doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
• Legionella duties – tap temps and flushing
• Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
• Plantroom inspections and AHU filter changes
• Reactive repairs and initial attendance for toilets, leaks and blockages
• Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required
• Carry out reactive / Ad-Hoc activities – being the first response on site, and where appropriate taking immediate action to make safe
• Escorting contractors
Other Responsibilities/Duties:
-Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
-Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
-Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
-Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
-To develop a good working relationship with all members of Equans staff, subcontractors and the client representatives.
-Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To always include the wearing of uniform and PPE.
-Ensure the professional image of Equans is presented to clients at all times
-Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of Equans are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
-Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated Fabric tasks
-To arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
-To undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
-Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
-Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
-Ensure CAFM system, e.g. Maximo, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
-To carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
-The position will require you to provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.
Client/Customer
• Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests
• Production of information for quotations
Helpdesk - PPM
• Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities
• Be available for out of hours call-out support for the contract if required
Compliance
• To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g. tap flushing
• Produce Condition / Dilapidation Reports as required for fabric assets
• Ensure supervisor is informed immediately if dangerous circumstances occur
SHEQ
• Comply with requests for information from SHEQ manager
• Ensure you work to company health and safety policy
• Ensue PPE is safe to use
• Report accident and near misses in a timely manner
• Ensure your test equipment is within calibration
• Ensure you follow Method Statements & Risk Assessments for all works
Impact:
Working to high standard of service, we require a fully reliable and competent Handyman/Fabric Tech who can work on own initiative, within a team or oversee subcontractor’s, producing good quality reports on their findings and work. The role will involve being the face of EQUANS so smart appearance and being able to discuss findings with others including customers is required.
Complexity:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work unaided and build rapports with end users and customers, promoting EQUANS’ values.
Have an excellent knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and/or painting/decorating techniques.
Have an eye for detail and be conscious of quality standards.
