What will you deliver?

 

The Performance Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the Contract Strategic Objectives Plan including the collation of annual proposals, measurement and evidence of completion of agreed initiatives. 

 

They will also be responsible for the tracking, evidencing and reporting on the six Strategic Outcomes set out in the contract Tender documents.

Another key aspect of the role is receiving and acting upon feedback through Senior Stakeholder Surveys, 360 Degrees surveys and via the helpdesk.

 

Responsibility of the Management of helpdesk services and the asset information team will also sit with this role.

What will you deliver?

To provide guidance and leadership to ensure that contracts in the Energy & Technical Services division meet their statutory safety and environment requirements and to assist contracts in delivering on responsible business initiatives.

This role will identify and deliver solutions to improve operational safety, health, environment & quality (SHEQ) in contracts in the part of ETS that they are assigned to. Working closely, and in partnership, with the operational teams and the Responsible Business, CDM and ETS SHEQ Solutions teams this role will ensure the EQUANS objectives, Responsible Business (RB) & SHEQ culture are embedded within sites and contracts at a regional level.  
 

  • Work with the Sr RB & SHEQ Managers, SHEQ Solutions BPs, RB, CDM and Central SHEQ to utilise and maintain adequate systems to meet all statutory and EQUANS obligations.
  • Ensure all reportable data is recorded accurately on the contract – coach contracts, sites and individuals where required.
  • Establish RB & SHEQ Action Plans for each contract with the Contract Director/Manager – these outputs will deliver safer workplaces, improved employee engagement, culture and support our work-winning activity as models of best practice.
  • Act on the findings of Audits – providing guidance to the sites and feedback to SHEQ Solutions on tools, processes and systems that made be needed to improve the safety and quality of our work.
  • Actively promote and champion Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and our Responsible Business (RB) agenda across the contracts that you will be responsible for. 
  • Mentor the Safety Ambassadors and the Responsible Business Champions within the contracts that you will be responsible for.
  • Lead by example in following the company’s Responsible Business values and objectives
  • Ensure that each contract has a Training Matrix or Learning Management System to ensure that all colleagues within the area have the appropriate Responsible Business, Quality and H&S training, qualifications, and development. The delivery of training that impacts safety should be monitored and prioritised. 
  • Lead investigations and liaise with stakeholders, ensuring detailed investigations are undertaken and full reports/ recommendations are provided – these reports will adequately identify the root causes of incidents.
  • Hold close out meetings, to ensure incidents/ investigations are fully closed and firm action plans with recommendations are presented to the Accident Incident Review boards to prevent further occurrences across the division and UKBU.
  • Support other internal functions to ensure systems and resources are appropriate to manage the risks across the area.
  • Coach contracts to use the Divisional Reporting tools (such as the ETS Essentials) and feedback to the SHEQ Solutions team on what further reporting may be needed.
  • Form strategic relationships with the HSE/EHO’s and other appropriate industry forums.
  • Support key bids, attend tender interviews, lead competitive dialogue in the bid process to demonstrate that H&S is top the agenda.
  • Support RB activities including volunteering posters, Clean Air Day campaign, Save Water campaign etc.
  • Working as a team with other RB & SHEQ Solutions BPs in ETS RB & SHEQ, functions and operations to ensure a positive Health & Safety culture, compliance and management system across the area BU 
  • Provide innovation and market leading solutions, delivering continuous improvement and data led focus on safety and responsible business

The primary purpose of these roles is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Fabric and limited Engineering Assets, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner.

What will you deliver?

 

  • Inspect/repair floor, walls, ceilings and roofs, free standing and fitted furniture, drainage and gully systems, luminaries, doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture, unblock toilets and sinks
  • Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
  • Assist engineering staff in a wide range of duties as required
  • General site services; to include, sweeping and tidying
  • Carry out Ad-Hoc activities supporting EQUANS and Client team including Moves/Changes
  • Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities
  • Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site carrying out associated Fabric tasks
  • Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests from the customer
  • Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities
  • To gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit Lamp changing and L8 activities e.g tap flushing

Working in collaboration with the Technical Hub Managers, you will have the required skills to ensure the safe and continuous operation of mechanical and / or electrical services and building plant as part of a flexible maintenance team

You will be responsible for and supervise/manage a team of static/mobile engineers, making sure that all PPM and Reactive Works are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and EQUANS processes and procedures

What will you deliver?

 

  • Effectively manage a team of engineers carrying out all aspects of maintenance & fabric works on site
  • As a Technical Supervisor, provide timely support to maintain the highest standard of statutory compliance
  • Assist in producing all required documentation to ensure that any incidents are recorded and escalated as per the requirements of the contract
  • Act as a Appointed Person / Responsible Person for Technical Disciplines
  • Manage the engineer’s data and job details in accordance with client and ENGIE requirements to ensure that the Computer Aided Facilities Management System (CAFM) is maintained to a current and accurate status
  • Build strong professional relationships with other groups within Engineering Services
  • Participate in the 24/7 maintenance cover (including on call rota) of the Building Engineering Services during normal and emergency activities
  • Proactively manage preventative maintenance and corrective works
  • Manage and co-ordinate all statutory maintenance activities
  • Supporting specific area team members as required
  • Support and develop the Company Values and develop, motivate and lead the Team to work in partnership with other service teams
  • Obligation to undertake training where necessary to learn new techniques and technology
  • Monitors the building services and report defects to the Hub Technical Managers
  • Supervise, communicate, and develop other trades staff and assess/evaluate the quality of the work
  • Ensures that all activities proceed in a safe manner compliant with Statutory Regulation, CDM, Good Practice

Als Werkvoorbereider bij EQUANS zorg je er namelijk niet alleen voor dat de juiste materialen op het juiste moment beschikbaar zijn. Je verzorgt nauwkeurig de complete werkvoorbereiding en fungeert als vraagbaak voor klant, leverancier én collega. Daarnaast calculeer je zelf meer- en minderwerk en verwerkt dit in een concept aanbieding. 

De projecten waar je aan werkt variëren van enkele tonnen tot enkele miljoenen. Denk hierbij aan onderhoudswerkzaamheden bij vaste klanten en nieuwbouw werkzaamheden. Daarnaast zijn de projecten vaak multidisciplinair van aard en werk je intensief samen met collega's van andere disciplines. Kwaliteit, nakomen van afspraken, ontzorgen en duidelijke communicatie zijn hierbij essentieel. Tegenover deze verantwoordelijkheden staat volop ruimte om je werk naar eigen inzicht in te delen.

Dus; een zeer veelzijdige functie waar je binnen het team functioneert als de "spin in het web." Van engineering en projectleiding tot montage en inbedrijfstelling. Met mooie doorgroeimogelijkheden naar bijvoorbeeld een projectleiders- of consultancyfunctie. 

Dit breng je mee

  • Je hebt een afgeronde technische HBO opleiding of MBO4 niveau met HBO werk en denkniveau in de richting van Werktuigbouwkunde;
  • Je hebt minimaal 1 à 2 jaar werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie;
  • Je bent flexibel en hebt doorzettingsvermogen;
  • Je bent scherp op details en financieel bewust;
