Maintenance Technician

EQUANS is looking for 2x Maintanence Technicians to be working 40 hours on a permanent basis at our Gem Contract in Bury, Manchester. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £23,000 and benefits package.

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Ensure that all equipment and services are maintained and operated in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety.
  • Engineer will have responsibility to carry out Planned Maintenance and reactive breakdowns
  • Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of statutory regulations and to ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
  • Undertake repairs and installations as appropriate.
  • Report any defects at time-of-service visit.
  • Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • An understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA's), service targets and objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  • Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
  • Attend Client meetings as required and directed by the Engineering Supervisor
  • Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
  • Some out of hours call outs may be necessary

Stores & Site Facility Operative

EQUANS are recruiting for a Stores & Site Facility Operative to be based in BCC East - Kings Road Tyseley B11 2AP. This is a permanent full-time role working 42.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary,  and benefits package.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (30 mins for lunch)

What will you deliver?

 

  • Oversee any deliveries coming in & out of the site, this will also incorporate the issue of materials, plant & PPE from a small store area on the premises
  • Focal point for access to the onsite Waste Station monitoring activity in line with company procedures & protocol
  • Daily surveillance of the outbuildings & yard taking appropriate action to maintain a good standard of cleanliness/ appearance
  • Completing /submitting of associated documentation in relation to business activities
  • Providing a continuity of service by ensuring ordered items or booked plant is released in a timely manner
  • Keeping up the appearance of the yard & surrounding buildings
  • Active involvement in the Waste transfer to uphold our Recycling Policy

Maintenance Assistant

PFP Assistant Estates Manager

EQUANS are recruiting for an  Assistant Estates Managers to be based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, B15 2WB. These are temporary, fixed-term shift roles to complete works contracted for 3 years with the potential for a permanent post once it expires.
 

These roles will require a flexible approach to the shift rota, which is open to negotiation.
 

What will you deliver?

  • Manage the day to day Passive Fire Protection work streams on behalf of Engie whilst interfacing with a number of construction, and non-construction, parties
  • Collate all information related to the PFP work & appropriately organise and store records in line with Engie record keeping procedures
  • Managing and directing staff in a safe and efficient manner
  • Carry out Authorised Person isolations, in relation to both electrical LV and Medical Gases,  where required to enable work to be completed
  • Deputise for the Senior Project Manager Passive Fire Protection during absence from site as directed by the Senior Management Team
  • Participate in shift working where required to ensure the delivery of the PFP project

Dit ga je doen als Senior Inbedrijfsteller Beveiliging

Als Senior Inbedrijfsteller in de Fire Safety & Security bij Equans ben je volledig zelf verantwoordelijk voor de programmering en het inbedrijfstellen van diverse brandmeld-, ontruimingsalarm-, blusgas- en securityinstallaties en ben je specialist op het gebied van beveiligingstechnieken. Hierbij wordt o.a. gebruik gemaakt van Security Management systemen. Vanuit je functie geef je op constructieve en professionele wijze leiding aan een uitvoerend projectteam. Je maakt zelf het plan van aanpak en stelt de planning op. Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor de financiële voortgang (tevens het registreren van meer- en minderwerk). 

De werkzaamheden vinden plaats in verschillende utilitaire en industriële omgevingen. 

Het zelfstandig realiseren, begeleiden van installatiewerkzaamheden en inbedrijfstellen van geïntegreerde en standalone beveiligingssystemen. Naast de verantwoordelijkheid voor de realisatie ligt het accent op het programmeren en inbedrijfstellen van de systemen alsmede op het instrueren van de klant en gebruiker 

Je zult ook ingezet gaan worden in de 24/7 consignatiedienst voor het zelfstandig verhelpen van storingen en waar nodig ook voor eventuele onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan beveiligingssystemen 

Bovendien ben je in staat de klant een goed technisch advies te kunnen geven Je werkt veel zelfstandig, maar overlegt ook vaak met andere partijen. Zoals in een testteam, waar onder meer engineers, montageleiders, projectleiders en opdrachtgevers de voortgang en hun verwachtingen bespreken. Veel verschillende personen, maar allemaal even belangrijk voor het proces! 

 

Dit breng je mee

  • Als Senior Inbedrijfsteller Beveiliging bij Equans: HBO werk- en denkniveau, aangevuld met vaktechnische opleidingen zoals Projecterings- of onderhoudsdeskundige brandmeldinstallaties;
  • Een diploma Monteur Beveiligingssystemen (MBV) of Technicus Beveiligingssystemen (TBV) is een pré;
  • Heb je aantoonbare leidinggevende ervaring;
  • Beschik je over een verklaring omtrent betrouwbaarheid, over certificaten voor veiligheidsopleidingen VCA VOL, NEN 3140/NEN1010 of bent bereid deze te halen; 
  • Heb je minimaal 5 tot 10 jaar jaren ervaring met het inbedrijfstellen van diverse beveiligingssystemen;  
  • Beschik je over uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden;
  • Ben je daarnaast enthousiast, klantvriendelijk en flexibel? En houd je van aanpakken? Dan heb je alles in huis voor deze functie!

Servicetechnicus Utiliteit

Vanuit onze vestiging in Leeuwarden doet Equans het onderhoud en beheer aan alle gebouwgebonden technische installaties bij diverse (grote en kleine) klanten in de regio, waaronder: distributiecentra, kantoren, theaters, gemeenten, (hoge)scholen, penitentiaire inrichtingen, productiebedrijven, ziekenhuizen, winkels, zwem- en sportfaciliteiten. 

 

Dit ga je doen als Servicetechnicus Utiliteit

In deze functie pak je alle soorten werkzaamheden op binnen je expertise op het gebied van beheer en onderhoud die voortvloeien uit contracten. Daarom heb je een brede interesse in de techniek, hou je van aanpakken en draag je zorg voor een veilige werkomgeving. 

 

Verder bestaan je werkzaamheden uit onder andere:

  • Het zelfstandig onderhouden, inspecteren en het uitvoeren van reparaties aan (complexe) installaties; 
  • Het opbouwen en onderhouden van een goede relatie met jouw klant; 
  • Het ontzorgen van je klant en zorgen voor een maximale klanttevredenheid; 
  • Het zorgdragen voor een goede verslaglegging van de uitgevoerde werkzaamheden;
  • Eventueel het aansturen van onderaannemers en/of toeleveranciers; 
  • Het er voor zorgen dat de nieuwe en bestaande installaties voldoen aan de geldende wettelijke bepalingen, kwaliteitsnormen en veiligheidseisen;  
  • Als teamspeler van ons zeer gemotiveerde onderhoudsteam ben je een belangrijke persoon in de voortdurende ontwikkeling van deze afdeling. 

 

Dit breng je mee

  • Afgeronde MBO opleiding op minimaal niveau 4 in een technische richting (aangevuld met een opleiding Service Technicus Installatietechniek is een pre);  
  • Aanvullende vakgerichte opleidingen en trainingen op het gebied van Installatietechniek en Beheer & Onderhoud gevolgd (bijvoorbeeld: F- Gassen en EBI/PO/PI in het kader van de Scios regelgeving); 
  • Technische kennis van het: service-, beheer- en onderhoudsproces, onderhoudsconcepten en assetmanagement binnen een multidisciplinaire werkomgeving of je bent bereid je daarin verder te (blijven) ontwikkelen;
  • Enthousiast en leergierig (brede interesse in de techniek); 
  • Mensgerichte persoonlijkheid die op een positieve manier wil investeren in zichzelf en zijn of haar klanten.

 

*) Ben je nog niet in bezit van de gevraagde diploma’s of certificaten dan biedt Equans je aan om in te stromen als Junior Servicetechnicus, waarna we je middels een persoonlijk ontwikkelingsplan gaan klaarstomen voor de functie.
