Customer Service Team Leader

Equans is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne on a Fixed term contract basis of 8 months. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of £25,440 - £27,560 per annum dependant on experience and skills as well as company benefits package.

This will be a hybrid role once training is completed.

General Overview:

Customer Service team leaders are responsible for leading a team of Customer Service Advisors delivering excellent customer outcomes.  Team leader’s drive productivity and ensure the delivery of high quality, cost-effective services through supporting continuous improvement.

Our Team leaders are an integral part of the leadership of the Customer Service team maintaining morale and facilitating excellent communications.   The primary accountability for this role will be to support EQUANS’s Facilities Management Helpdesk located at our Shared Service Centre (SSC).  

The team leader will also act as an SME and point of escalation for customer enquiries therefore a sound knowledge of the facilities management market is desirable.

The post holder will be required to work flexibly with variable hours of work to respond to the changing needs of the service. Occasional travel to other sites may also be required as part of the role.

 

What will you deliver?

  • Effectively manage and respond to queries and communication via all contact channels e.g. telephone, email and digital methods.
  • Support the delivery of an effective and efficient operational service.
  • Ensure adherence to key metrics linked to maximising productivity, improved quality and KPIs 
  • To implement an effective and robust performance management framework to improve quality and productivity; driving performance through achieving targets and personal achievements
  • Act as a point of escalation for Advisors to manage more complex enquiries
  • Provide clear effective leadership to inspire, motivate and empower team members to deliver excellent customer service
  • Assist in the recruitment, training and ongoing development of team members
  • Maintaining personal development, training and awareness and take personal responsibility for own development by highlighting any gaps to the relevant manager
  • Support and deputise for the Operations Manager when required

Votre Profil :

To lead & motivate a Reception, Administration & Office support team delivering all Office Services. Must be highly focused on customer care with a “can do” attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to be a key team member in a changing business environment. What will you deliver? 

  • Managing and supporting a team of 6
  • Carry out appraisals and performance management for the Office Services Team
  • Management of site vehicles and fuel cards
  • Ensure all HR records for Equans employees are kept up to date and reports generated
  • Provide Financial overview of Equans cost model, wages, payment and invoices, company credit cards and P&L
  • Provide HR support for employees
  • Ensure relevant employee training is kept up to date
  • Provide management of the minor works process (Maximo)

  • Work with appropriate line supervisors to ensure that tasks are planned and delivered to client specification and agreed service requirements

General Operative

EQUANS is looking for a General Operative to join our team in Kidderminster on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 

 

General Overview

Provide a high quality level service according to contractual service level requirements.

What will you deliver? 

  • Correctly and efficiently recording information relating to specified mail items utilising a number of different valuable recording systems
  • Identifying suspected fraudulent items utilising technology provided and processing as per requirements for each unique business unit
  • Ensure mail trays are logged onto system at point of receipt and tray ID’s generated
  • Check mail trays for exempt from opening items
  • Ensure mail flows through to high speed opening, x-ray or scanning prep areas smoothly and efficiently as per the production plan
  • Ensure envelopes are opened on the high speed equipment in rotation as per the plan and that all tray id’s are updated on the system
  • Ensure all trays ready to be fully opened and sorted are assigned to the correct desk and operator
  • Effectively and efficiently sort the mail by utilising the technology on the sort desks
  • Ensure no cross contamination of envelopes occurs at any stage of the mail handling process
  • Accurately prepare mail into batches for scanning

Equans is looking for a Clerk of Works to join our team in Grimsby DN31 on a 12 Month fixed term contract basis. This is a full time role working 37.50 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 and benefits package.

The Professional services is made up of the RIBA Chartered Practice (architectural team), Highway Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, Asbestos, Building and Condition Surveyors, Disabled Adaptations and Building Control. The team delivers a wide range of building and highways design (utilising 2D and 3D modelling) and procurement related services, including new build, refurbishment, housing adaptation, remodelling and listed building works. We deliver legislative compliances for the asset management of the NELC portfolio along with legislative consent and enforcement in the building control sector. Together the services produce design solutions for all phases of a project; providing flexible and responsive services through a collaborative approach.

 

Main Purpose

The main purpose of the role is to support the company in the operation of company systems ISO standards covering the effective management of quality, health, safety and environment. This will include extensive working on live projects across a wide geographical area.  To understand, adhere and implement the company SHEQ policy/strategy and ensure full compliance to Approved Codes of Practice and legislation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure that contractors construct in accordance with the contract documentation and drawings, monitor work on site, identify areas of conflict with drawings and specifications.
  • Provide weekly, written progress reports to the Project Leader making note of defects and contract variations; recommend remedial action as necessary.
  • Evaluate situations of potential conflict during the construction process and prepare options for remedial action. Instruct remedial action, particularly where an urgent health and safety risk is involved.
  • Provide survey/dilapidations information. Assist in development of the project brief and identify aspects which can be enhanced to offer best value.
  • Advise on feasibility options on minor projects or small elements of major projects and present recommendations where required to the Project Leader.
  • Provide technical advice on construction sites and buildability advice to design team meetings.
  • Take decisions when required, observing SHEQ (safety, health, environment, quality) procedures.
  • Represent Equans and the Professional Services Team in monitoring aspects of health and safety on construction sites. Report concerns to the appropriate people. 
  • Provide information to assist the team in dealing with complaints and disputes.
  • Undertake end of defects inspections with the Project team and provide snagging lists.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing efficient and effective working practices and procedures.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties as required which are commensurate with the post.

Key Skills & Experience required.

  • Experience in working in the construction industry.
  • Qualified to HNC level building studies or surveying, or a relevant equivalent is desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of building design, construction, site administration and health and safety legislation/ CDM Regulations.
  • Extensive experience in a building construction environment is essential and experience of site supervision or leading teams an advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Good numeracy and IT literacy skills.
  • Ability to travel to and work on construction sites in a variety of locations.

  • Encadrer la sous-traitance du chantier, contrôler la qualité des réalisations et traitement des non conformités,
  • Traitement des devis et de la facturation des travaux
  • Être en capacité de formuler un avancement de chantier et de quantifier le « reste à faire »
  • Etablir les documents de suivi de chantier et remonter les éléments d'informations (tant techniques que pour la facturation, les modifications et les travaux supplémentaires)
  • Être l’interlocuteur du client et de différents intervenants sur les chantiers

 

Vous êtes le candidat idéal si :

 

Vous êtes titulaire d’un Bac à BAC +2, et vous justifiez d’une expérience réussie dans le domaine des marchés à Bon de commande. La maîtrise de Excel est indispensable.
