Equans is looking for a Workplace Technician to join our team in Central London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week, based on a shift pattern of 4 Days on, 4 Days off, 7am-7pm. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?

Provide Engineering team with SSP support to provide the following; Compliance & Statutory Inspections, Fabric Maintenance and
Reactive Repairs & FCU Maintenance
- Assist Team with undertaking furniture Moves & Changes
- Assist Team with undertaking Meeting Room set-ups, Event Management Functions, Exhibitions
- Undertake furniture repairs where practical
- Provide engineering support, assisting with but not limited to, air filter replacements, basic water hygiene checks and recording, fire alarm tests, electrical shutdowns

Safe Systems of Work Coordinator
Equans is looking for a Safe Systems of Work Coordinator to join our team at Astra Zeneca in Macclesfield on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Carry out work, on behalf of the Client (via the Equans – Client O&M Contract), for the implementation and co-ordination of Equans, Client and Contractor activities requiring formal Safe Systems of Work such as Permits to Work, Confined Space Certificates, Hot Work Certificates and Lifting Plans
- Ensure that all equipment / plant utilised on site for various activities and part of the requirement of a formal Safe System of Work is appropriate, correctly maintained and repaired to ensure that it is fit for purpose and will be used with the safety of all other site personnel in mind
- Perform duties in compliance with all applicable company and site safety rules, procedures and guidelines
- Provide local leadership team support for the Contract Manager
- Co-ordinate maintenance and project work activities of site stakeholders and act as an Equans liaison officer when attending Client Project and Safety Meetings

Who are we looking for?
- Knowledge and preferably proven experience and delivery of process plant operations, engineering and maintenance
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety legislation and its impact on day to day operations
- An understanding of the processes and systems required to develop and maintain a high standard of work quality

Energy Centre Technician
EQUANS is looking for an Energy Centre Technician to join our team at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. The hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.15pm & Friday, 8am - 3pm. You must also be prepared to work out of hours on occasion. On offer is a salary of £34,000 - £36,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience, plus a benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Support the Estates Management in the provision of a 24hr maintenance Service within the Portsmouth Hospital Trust for the service provider
- Undertake any training as required
- Promote a culture of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners and to liaise with other departments regarding maintenance issues if required
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties relevant to the post
- After suitable training and guidance, diagnose faults, repair and maintain complex equipment in accordance with PSSR) and other specialised heating plant

Multi Skilled Shift Technician
Equans is looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Technician to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week based on a 12-hour continental shift pattern, including days & nights. On offer is a salary of £43,342.92 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience and a benefits package.
Working as part of the shift operations team, reporting operationally to the Site Operations Risk Controller (SORC), you will be expected to take a proactive role in the maintenance of the building Mechanical/Electrical assets across the site, both through planned maintenance and reactive “help desk” requests.
What will you deliver?
- Ensure site Electrical & Mechanical systems are operated and maintained to the required codes of practice and industry guidelines
- Carry out day today maintenance and reactive issues relating to all the electrical equipment and assets
- Complete information and feed back to computer-based systems particularly the PPM system
- Carry out fault identification/rectification and escalation when required on heating, ventilation and airconditioning issues
- Installation and modification of site electrical/mechanical services

Project Engineer (Offshore Wind)
For our Offshore Wind division, located in Hoboken (Antwerp) we are looking for a Project Engineer Offshore Wind.
In the context of the Offshore Services division strategy and within the set framework, as a Project Engineer, you will work in multi-disciplinary project team and shall give support to the engineering activities related to the different systems of your specialty (expertise). You will primarily be responsible for assisting the Project Engineering Manager in organizing the engineering works, and secondary also will be responsible for the design and delivery of a set of mechanical or electrical systems, depending on your education and relevant work experience. You will report to the Project Engineering Manager.
Your role in assistance of the Project Engineering Manager:
- preparing integrated concept designs, outline specifications, technical specifications for systems and equipment, functional specifications together with partners where appropriate
- translating the client’s and statutory requirements in appropriate technical documents (Request For Proposal – Technical part) to be used by the Procurement team to obtain “best in class” conditions (at bidding phase and execution phase) according to customers’ expectations and for their execution in compliance with the estimate
- leading the engineering activities for the allocated project and monitor quality, assess input from our own Engineering team, partners, suppliers and subcontractors
- preparing the operations & maintenance manuals to be delivered to customers
- incorporating appropriate maintenance engineering in the design and provide support to the in-house Monitoring & Maintenance department
- providing support towards Construction & Commissioning: definition of procedures, tools & systems to organize the works for the construction of the products to be delivered (resources, tools, quality, H&S,…) – improve efficiency thanks to lessons learned (“learning team”)
What do you need?
- university level degree, master of science in engineering (mechanical/electrical/electromechanical)
- minimum 3 years’ experience in engineering, procurement & construction activities related to offshore structures
- track record related to offshore substations (OHVS) is a clear asset
- knowledge of DNVGL-ST-145 and DNVGL-OS-D201 is a preference
- knowledge of Dutch codes and standards pertaining to offshore substations is an advantage
- for candidates with electrical engineering background:
- knowledge of IEC 60362/IEC 61439/IEC 61892 is an advantage
- experience with AutoCad and Eplan software is an advantage
- experience with Caneco software is an advantage
- for candidates with mechanical engineering background:
- experience with mechanical systems onboard an electrical platform/oil & gas platform or a ship is preferred
- ambition to develop leadership capabilities and experience in supervising an engineering team in an international context or to develop expertise in particular fields of knowledge to become a system expert engineer
- able to manage good relationships with the project management team, the client and our partners while monitoring Equans’ interests
- communication skills: English. Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is definitely an added value

Dans le cadre d'un partenariat avec un important client français du secteur nucléaire, nous recherchons un(e) Ingénieur Projets en électronique de puissance (H/F).
Le projet a pour but de pérenniser des équipements électriques de type variateur, convertisseur de puissance ou encore onduleur.
Rattaché(e) au Chargé d'Affaires, vous aurez pour missions principales :
- Les essais de caractérisation des performances d'un convertisseur,
- Les études de traitement des obsolescences,
- Les études faisabilité pour le redéveloppement de sous-ensembles d'équipements à base d'électronique de puissance, de régulation de vitesse et de commande,
- La conception de matériels de conversion d'énergie, de distribution électrique et d'interconnexions,
- La réalisation d'études amont, interface fournisseurs,
- La rédaction de spécifications techniques,
- La gestion d'obsolescence de composant d'électronique de puissance,
- Le choix de composants,
- Le suivi du / des fournisseur(s),
- Environnement Technique :
- Appareils de tension (ex : Survolteur et Dévolteur/boost et Buck, hacheur...),
- Appareils de conversion d'énergie (ex : Cyclo convertisseur, AC-DC, DC-DC...),
- Equipements électrotechniques (Variateurs, Alimentations...),
- La rédaction de STA (Spécification technique d'achat) et STB (Spécification technique du besoin),
- La rédaction de note de dimensionnement (logiciels PSIM et SPACE),
- La rédaction de fiche technique matériel.
De formation équivalent BAC+5 en électronique de puissance (école d'ingénieur ou université), vous bénéficiez d'une première expérience professionnelle d'au moins 5 ans dans un poste similaire qui vous a permis de développer vos compétences en gestion de projets d'études et de conception.
Vous disposez de bonnes capacités rédactionnelles et savez écrire des STA et STB. Vous avez de l'expérience en notes de dimensionnement et fiches techniques des matériaux de puissance (variateur de vitesse, convertisseur de puissance et onduleur).
Une première expérience dans le secteur nucléaire serait un plus.
Vous êtes autonome et méthodique dans la gestion de vos projets au quotidien, vous avez de bonnes capacités d'analyse et vous appréciez le travail en équipe.
Vous maitrisez l'outil informatique et les logiciels PSIM et SPACE.
Ce poste requiert une enquête administrative permettant la procédure d'habilitation gouvernementale du / de la candidat(e) à occuper les fonctions ci-dessus.

Project Planning Engineer Primavera (Offshore Wind)
Equans is looking for a Project Planning Engineer Primavera (Offshore Wind) for Hoboken.
In this role you are responsible for developing, tracking, controling and maintaining schedules and tenders based on the standards developed within Equans - Offshore Wind (Hoboken). In order to achieve excellence in this field, you work in close collaboration with the Project Manager and other departments involved (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, etc) and incorporate their feedback in the preparation of tenders and project schedules.
Your mission?
- project scheduling:
- management, development, tracking and reporting of project schedules and tenders based on the input given by the Project team and other parties involved
- tailoring of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in liaison with the Project Manager and/or other members of the Project team
- ensure the efficient set up of the project schedule plans at the start of each project in cooperation with the Project Management team and JV partners
- ensure the timely set up and update of the tender schedule plans during tender phase, in close cooperation with the Tender team, senior project managers, JV partners and client representatives
- work with the Project team to develop and maintain detailed schedules and to clarify the interfaces for each project between all parties involved
- trouble-shoot and follow up on potential schedule problems
- interact with other members of the Project team to collect information on schedule, progress and discuss solutions to optimize the plans
- reviewing:
- ensure that the schedules are in compliance with contractual requirements
- review of schedules provided by JV Partners and preparation of possible corrective actions
- monitor any deviation from the initial status and perform all activities necessary to make the analysis of any slippage with the Project Management team
- alignment with Planning/Scheduling team as well as other stakeholders
- reporting:
- produce monthly project schedule reports both for internal management and clients
Your talents?
- technical background such as an engineering degree or equivalent proven experience
- minimum 3 years of experience as scheduler and at least 2 years of experience in scheduling of complex EPC projects
- experience in engineering, construction and/or commissioning
- PMI certification
- knowledge of Primavera is mandatory
- knowledge Offshore is a plus
- capable of gathering and summarizing information from various sources
- excellent communication skills and reporting capability with strong presentation skills
- able to work against deadlines, resistant to stress, client oriented mind
- team player who is driven to display the correct results
- quality oriented with strong presentation skills
- fluent in English as well as in French or Dutch
