What will you deliver?

 

  • Allocate tasks to the cleaning team
  • Check and monitor cleaning standards across the site to ensure they meet requirements
  • Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Carry out cleaning section to specified areas including toilets, floors and office areas ensuring that internal facilities are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition and that the general standard of cleaning is maintained to a very high standard
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected by the site manager

Catering Assistant

EQUANS are recruiting two Catering Assistants to join our team at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, EH16 4SA. These are permanent roles, working 37.5 hours per week with a variety of shift options available. On offer is a salary of £20606 per annum and benefits package.

 

Shift Options:

  • 5 over 7 shift pattern working between the hours of 06:30 and 20.00
  • Monday to Friday between 06:60 and 20:00 (one week early one week late)

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

EQUANS are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a Hybrid basis between home and our office in London (once/twice a month).  This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.  

The Assistant Quantity Survey will be a member of the operational team supporting within the HMCTS (His Majesty’s Court and Tribunal Service) contract where EQUANS complete minor/billable works. They will provide support with quoting for these works using a schedule of rates with a focus on profit improvement along with focus on compliance. In addition, you will be required to support with obtaining quotes from sub-contractors and liaising with operational teams to close out jobs on the CAFM system when complete.  The role will also focus on clearing down open work, work in progress and providing a regular update to management team on progress made.

  • Supporting the management of Work in Progress (WIP) and it’s impacts on billing
  • Supporting governance within the contracts to ensure that the requirements of the contract and EQUANS’s own internal governance processes are being complied with.
  • Aiding the quality of service by ensuring awareness of contractual responsibilities among all other EQUANS colleagues (including contract deliverables, scope of services etc.).
  • Enforcing commercial compliance (by audit and support against EQUANS’s Minimum Commercial Standards).

Industrial Operative

Facilities Supervisor

What will you deliver?

The role of the Facilities Supervisor is to support and lead the operational delivery across the Birmingham education estate. It is the line management position for a number of Head Caretakers and the immediate interface with the clients on these sites. The role will support the Soft Service Manager, interface with the Hard FM delivery and be responsible for managing site level compliance and risk.  

 

  • Organise, manage and monitor the tasks of the caretaking staff and cleaning teams on nominated sites
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of soft services staff and the allocation of tasks.
  • Act as keyholder.  Ensure routine and non-routine security procedures are carried out for the buildings and grounds.
  • Line Management of a number of Site Managers & caretakers.
  • Prepare reports as required for the contract reporting.  Ensure records are maintained and updated as appropriate.
