Permit and Compliance Manager

As a member of Wembley National Stadium contract team, you will be responsible for ensuring Wembley Stadium and the FM services that EQUANS and its partners deliver is fully compliant with the national legislation and laws, policies, and contract requirements and EQUANS policies. As well as operational FM this will include the areas of Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental, Energy, People and CSR. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving consistency and identifying and implementing best/next practice across the portfolio.

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Review of SSoW for sub-contractor and self-delivered tasks from a health and safety perspective
  • Highlighting subcontract or self-delivered risk assessments which require review/sign off from appropriate technical APs
  • Responsible for the control of safe systems of work throughout the site.
  • Senior point of contact for Permit/Authority to proceed management.
  • File appropriate compliance reports onto both and electronic logbook systems system allowing the contract is always audit ready
  • Undertake annual review of Sub Contractor documentation
  • Implement new SSOW’s
  • Monthly review of EQUANS and sub-contractor logbooks and highlight any compliance issues to account management team for investigation/follow up
  • Review and advise on training and coaching support for account staff in line with individual’s Personal Development Plans and company practices.
  • Promote a culture of customer service in line with EQUANS and Wembley National Stadium objectives and values.

Stores Person

EQUANS are recruiting for a Stores Person to be based in Birmingham City and Sandwell Hospitals. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Be responsible for receiving and checking all deliveries.
  • Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner.
  • Ensure stock is ordered and replenished in timely manner to prevent delay in rectifying faults. 
  • Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies.
  • Keep a record of and report any frequent shortages or spare items.
  • Keep inventory management systems up to date.
  • Carry out regular stock takes.
  • Support with the implementation of a stock and inventory control management system.
  • Organise and deliver goods from the stores to the relevant departments as required.
  • To ensure full compliance at all times with health and safety regulations, precautions, safe working practices and Data Protection requirements.
  • Carry out a regular count of materially managed items, to an agreed schedule using a computerised stock control system (PDA).
  • Produce electronic ‘top up’ orders according to procedures.

Under the supervision and direction of the Social Value Manager, co-ordinate, deliver, and record contractual Social Value commitments across all contracts within the region, as well as support EQUANS’ Responsible Business commitment to invest in the communities in which we work. This role will be covering the Yorkshire and Humber region.

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Social Value commitments on contract/s, progress against these commitments and alignment to the clients’ Strategic Objectives
  • Ensure delivery on social value commitments to meet required deadlines (e.g., Site visits, work experience, workshops, employment and skills support, volunteering projects etc)
  • Ensure up-to-date, accurate data is recorded on contract Activity Tracker/s to enable production of internal and external reports by the Social Value Manager and support the continued development of localised Social Value Strategies and Engagement Plans
  • Maintain effective networks of external stakeholders and community partners to promote partnership working which will address contractual Social Value commitments in the most effective way
  • Complete case studies, social media, and content for newsletters to communicate activities within the business and externally
  • Where required, represent the company on local focus groups to identify and support opportunities/projects which will address contractual commitments
  • Attend and promote the company at employment and careers events
  • To coordinate the full recruitment process for apprentices, graduates, and trainees (TAGs) to meet the needs of EQUANS

The EQUANS district energy business unit has over 30 years experience designing, installing, operating, maintaining and funding city centre scale energy systems which provide cost and carbon savings to end-customers. Initiating or responding to initial client contact, PDMs are adept at identifying and prioritising good opportunities, developing effective client relationships and driving forward concept designs and financial modelling to enable commercially attractive connection offers to be made in accordance with client needs. In securing client commitments, the PDM manages key risks and drives forward the project to financial close and handover of new contracts to the projects and operational teams. PDMs have opportunity to work on between [5 and 10] projects at any one time and are required to project manage the development of decentralised energy infrastructure projects, from RIBA Stage 0 to 4.

Mobile Maintenance Operative

General Overview:

  • To carry out all PPM and Reactive repairs, as necessary across Health Care sites in Bristol and Oxford
  • Liaise with the helpdesk in relation to Reactive Work Orders
  • Responsible for minor installations and maintenance of site Mechanical & Electrical Systems.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and report diligently.
  • Responsible for all record keeping, control of sub-contractors and raising and issuing of safety documentation as required.
  • Ability to work in a customer focused environment where quality and image is very important.
  • Ensure any parts required are clearly and accurately stated.
  • Ensure that any difficulties encountered on maintenance/engineering activities are reported to the Engineering Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure all record keeping functions are completed on a daily basis or as required.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
  • Understanding of company procedures.
  • Understanding of escalation procedures.
  • To be available for out of hours call out, weekend working depending on production and business requirements.

  • Manage and co-ordinate direct employed labour and sub-contractors in reacting to breakdowns and implementing the Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems.

  • Provide technical assurance advice across the discipline of maintenance services.
  • Review and develop the quality of service at an operational level and Control expenditure as delegated by the Account Director.

Technical Services Supervisor

Working under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, the post holder will deliver efficient and effective maintenance management service throughout the hospital, ensuring contract compliance is maintained.

What will you deliver?

  • The supervision and quality management a flexible maintenance team, including specialist subcontractors to ensure the safe and continuous operation of mechanical, electrical engineering services and building plant.
  • Provide support the Technical Service Managers (TSM’s) in the development and maintenance of the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) system and for the efficient utilisation of the Technical Services team.
  • Support the TSM’s in leading and developing personnel, identifying training requirements through gap analysis, and initiating a program to deliver a resourced, informed and motivated team.
  • Manages the day-to-day delivery of all hard planned and reactive FM services to ensure response and rectification times are met in line with SLA’s and performance levels and updates relevant work orders on Maximo and the PPM tracker.
  • Helps produce and validate monthly reports on behalf of the TSM demonstrating service compliance

Responsible for managing the Social Value team in the East/West Midlands; to support, develop and enhance the Central Region social value outputs. Responsible for overall strategy and managing the project outputs on existing and newly established projects plus the successful reporting and achievement of these.
