Working Supervisor

EQUANS are recruiting for a Working Supervisor to be based at Heysham Nucear PowerStation. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

General Overview

 

Experience of all aspects of building and civil engineering tasks including excavations and groundworks, and would have a joinery background, including the ability for 1st and 2nd fix joinery, (doors, frames, stud wall installations etc).  This will also include constructing, erecting, altering, repairing, and maintaining wooden doors, roovess, windows, furniture, cabinets, open plan offices, screens, frames, and other items using hand and power tools such as drills, jointers, sanders, saws, and other equipment of the carpentry trade. Enhanced duties may include removing walls, installing partitions and steps, altering rooms, or adding to existing structures using hand and power tools. Supervision and delivery of projects including but limited to, supervising subcontractors and  direct and indirectly employed staff. Managing plant equipment & materials in such a way the that the project is delivered safely within agreed timescales to budget and the correct level of quality. Ensuring that all health safety environmental and quality procedures are adhered to.

  • Work with appropriate line supervisors to ensure that tasks are planned and delivered to client specification and agreed service requirements
  • Plan and prioritise work
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H/S and Environmental regulations
  • Establish good working relationships with other team members, provide guidance to others (e.g., apprentices)
  • Willingly contribute to the overall team and company objectives, responding quickly to new directives

Vos principales missions :

 

Vous intégrez l'équipe talentueuse, sympa et dynamique de François (Directeur), spécialisée en éclairage public et réseaux. Il vous confiera la mission d’assurer le pilotage opérationnel d’un portefeuille d’affaires depuis la conception jusqu’à la réalisation, dans tous ses aspects techniques, managériaux et commerciaux, en étant garant du résultat financier.

 

Ainsi, vous développez votre activité (clients existants, prospection…), de la remise des prix à la négociation finale et assurez la responsabilité de la gestion financière et contractuelle de vos affaires.

 

En tant que manager organisé(e) et force de proposition, vous déléguez, animez et pilotez les équipes opérationnelles affectées à vos affaires (Conducteurs de travaux, Chefs de chantier, Electriciens...)

 

Vous pilotez les relations avec les sous-traitants et les fournisseurs, établissez les devis et les cahiers des charges et mettez en œuvre la logistique et les moyens matériels.

Technical Operations Manager

EQUANS are recruiting for a Technical Operations Manager to be based at Vinewood House, Stoke. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.  

The Technical Operations Manager will ensure that the Hard Services provided are compliant and to the highest quality/standard, with due recognition of client and customer requirements. They will be accountable for the operational delivery for Hard FM Services on Stoke Schools PFI contract across 88 sites with a total contract revenue of circa £10m per annum and an operational team of 30 FTE’s. They will be responsible for developing effective relationships and ensuring that pro-active communication is maintained continuously with all internal & external stakeholders. 

 

What will you deliver?

 

  • Ensure all PPM, Reactive, Corrective, Minor works & Lifecycle activity is carried out in line with the agreed contractual KPIs/SLAs. 
  • Ensure that statutory compliance is proactively managed and continually maintained across the SCC Contract.    
  • The oversight and management of strategic hard services subcontractors across the SCC contract. 
  • To oversee the organisation & implementation of technical work programmes and activities with particular emphasis on strategic initiatives. 
  • To provide technical and specialist advice to clients and internal stake holders enabling informed decisions to be made relating to technical compliance & operational delivery. 
  • To develop effective customer relationships and act as point of escalation for operational delivery with clients at SCC and project Co. 
  • Work in accordance with internal commercial & procurement governance ensuring the adoption of internal policies and procedures.   
  • To apply all appropriate technical assurance, health and safety procedures in all aspects of delivery. Provide advice to the operational team regarding their responsibilities in this area and work collaboratively with technical & QHSE colleagues to complete NCR’s.

Vos missions :

 

Sous la responsabilité du chargé d’affaires Services, vous assurez la maintenance préventive et corrective de nos installations de sécurité incendie (sprinkler, colonnes sèches, RIA, etc.) dans le cadre de nos contrats de service chez nos clients industriels, agroalimentaires, GMS, etc.

A la tête d’une équipe de monteurs, vous êtes le garant de l’ensemble des prestations de chantier (approvisionnement, montage, mise en service…) dans le respect de la sécurité, des délais et de la qualité.

Polyvalent, vous êtes également chargé d’assurer l’entretien et le dépannage (hydrauliques, électriques, asservissements) des réseaux sprinklers et RIA de nos clients ainsi que de rédiger les rapports détaillés.

  • Delivery of all specialist engineering services

  • Manage the day to day running of the team
